​We both have a passion for cycling, good design and beautiful digital products, so we decided to embark on a journey to improve the current cycling scenario in the Algarve (focusing both on the riders and the bike-friendly businesses).​

Velopod brings together the best of us in a project that started in 2025, when sharing ideas, drinking coffee, and obviously cycling!​

The Algarve is not only one of the TOP European cycling destinations, but it's the place that inspired us to build Velopod.
From our own experiences riding our bikes here, we encountered dozens of challenges while searching for reliable, relevant cycling information. So, we've set out to help fix this problem. In the Algarve, and beyond!
